I would like to buy a used Begadi S-aeg and convert it to a normal (full auto capable) aeg.
I am NOT a German, I do not live or play there.
I would remove the F marking.

So this is legal...

Question is: is it only the MOSFET I would need to change?

Would like to talk to people who have done this.

Thanks!

Hello,

Problem with this conversion is: we can't tell what has been changed to achieve the semi-only modus since it's a German F-mark replica.

There are multiple ways to ensure that a replica can only shoot semi-only. As you said, I could be a special mosfet that only has a single fire only modus, but there can also be changes to some internal parts. A more common one is a special tappet plate. But still: Begadi could have changed completely something differently.
Begadi or the seller will never tell what has been changed to make the replica semi-only, since this is illegal by German law.

If I could make a suggestion: leave it to semi-only. I personally play all my skirmish games semi-only. It's a lot more enjoyable, makes you a better airsofter and you also shoot way less BB's on a day. A lot of fields in Netherlands only allow playing semi-only, so I don't think the full auto modus is needed.
