Hello all,

I am a proud owner of a fancy Specna Arms Edge E-17 replica here and enjoying playing airsoft in the NL very much.

I'm using an M90 spring in it and at chrono last week I saw that I was shooting at 0.7J which seems super low to me.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge in putting in a different spring that keeps it under NL limits?

Welcome to the ACN forums, feel free to introduce yourself in the appropriate forum section here :)

I'm sure someone in here will be able to help you out with your technical question!

With the Edge it is really simple. All you require is a long philips head screwdriver. Remove the buffertube and then from there you can acces the spring guide and spring. I thought there is a video from gunfire on how to do it, but there is certainly an image within the booklets or online that show you how to do it.

Sorry - I think my question wasn't clear! I know how to replace the spring, but the question is which power spring I can put in!

Currently with the M90 it shoots at 0.7J so I feel like I should get a stronger one :)

Hi there,

I'm using a Guarder SP100 spring in all my Specna Arms. The results vary from 1.07J up to 1.16J depending on what upgrades I've put in and the barrel length. My barrels range from 270mm till 383mm (these are all precision barrels).
Must say that all guns have their angle of engagement adjusted so if you haven't done this it might influence your measurements slightly.
All in all I would recommend a Guarder SP100 since it works well for me.
