@Sander please feel free to delete any topic i duplicated on this forum, but because time is running and i have no time which is should to play on 3 of July so i need you to help me guys to select the right parts to upgrade my A&K SR25.
The gearbox is 2.5 so which of these parts are good to me or what do you suggests me?
1. Barrel: Prometheus 6.03 (455mm or 509mm) which one is better and why? should i go with larger diameter such as 6.04 or 05 to avoid (air suck back) or I am good with this one?
2. Cylinder with Cylinder Head: The Maple Leaf Full Cylinder with Cylinder Head & Piston Head For v2 & v3 good to achieve more are air seal or the Maple Leaf ¾ Cylinder with Cylinder Head & Piston Head For v2 & v3 is better! any other recommendation are welcome please..
3. Piston with AOE to the sniper or without it is better?
Is there're anyone has good experience with 19 Teeth piston, then which one?
4. What is the best bucking do you recomed to semi-auto sniper 400fp+ the sW-hold bucking or Maple Leaf Macron 50°- 60° as @Ties recommended to me, any other idea are welcome.
Any other things you wish to add here please do not hesitate

1 Choosing the correct barrel length is a combination of both the cylinder and barrel length (and if you do it correctly a lot more but these are the main big ones). Both would be fine on a full cylinder, so considering the 455mm is probably cheaper and you are not gonna get better performance out of the 509, take the 455 mm one.
2. Full cylinder and a piston head that will get a good seal, the 3/4 cylinder will likely not supply enough air so you get a too low cylinder:barrel ratio and then it goes bad. A good but cheaper pom piston, any full cylinder and a good double o-ring cylinder head will probably be cheaper and work just as fine as what you have linked.
3. Always correct AOE off course, it is always better then not corrected it will increase the longevity of the piston itself. Not many 19 teeth piston on the markets but get one with a full metal rack. the opinion on SHS is divided, I like them others not so much. Just get a respectable brand with a full metal rack.
4. I would follow Ties his advice.

Tips: perfect air seal, stabilize barrel

Indeed a nice pom piston head, any aftermarket cylinder head and an air nozzle with o-ring(s) will give you a real good air seal, no need to buy a new cylinder though if the stock one is a full cylinder.
Also a shs sr-25/R85 gearset as the stock one is kind of weak.
last tip: use some silicone sealant('siliconen kit' in dutch) to seal the cylinderhead in the cylinder and the bucking to the barrel you could even go as far as sealing it in the hop unit.
btw i have an extra sr-25 airnozzle with o-rings you can buy from me. :)

@Ties do you own a&k sr25 or you had one before?
If does may i benefited from your experience with replica, yet i have no idea what parts install inside the gearbox the taiwangun.com already made upgrade to the gun, but what is the level of these parts i don't know.
I did contact taiwangun.com and ask them to do best full upgrade to the replica but they said no need to do any upgrade further because because already they did..with myself i doubt the upgrade reach top line level (because taiwangun doesn't have the best internals parts anyway except cheap stuff) however.
You mentioned that the SHS sr-25 gearset as the stock one is kind of weak while some people recommend me to buy these set, so could you tell more please about these gears, have you ever witnessed any problem with it? any better gearsset you can recommend to me?
Regarding to your airnozzle with o-rings (its aluminum?)
Because i ordered extra one from TG but not really sure if this airnozzle will fit to mey sr25 so could you never mind to check it out if not the same then i will cancel it and buy yours.

@Rebelattack the barrel length is my puzzle at this moment because the stander taiwangun (a&k sr25 barrel is 509mm) which can shot target from 60 meter.
Now the question is: what is the Inner Barrel Diameter of that gun..?!!
6.03 or 01 absolutely no, of course its 6.05 and they're using 0.20g bb in this test.
At the end I'm getting average Joule Creep of 0.20g.!
In this case using heaver bb's .28g with (tight long barrel) with the same (Air Seal) offered by this gearbox will just sit the bb's between my legs..
Please note this is very difficult process even to pro AEG sniper builders..

Yes I also own a P&J (A&K) SR-25 from taiwangun. You can keep the cylinder and cylinder head, the piston, spring guide and motor, as they are good.
The nozzle you ordered is an M4 one and is too short.
All you need is a (i think, ask taiwangun to be sure) bore-up piston head, and gears. I meant get the shs gearset because the stock gears are bad.
As for the barrel and hop unit; keep the barrel stock for the time being and get either a modify or a lonex hop unit (your call). Read up some more on barrel lengths and compression rations in the mean time.

@Ties man!!
So where have you been all this time and you see me asking here and there about this replica! well good to have you here after all.
-So tell me some more things please: does the P&J (A&K) SR-25 ready for 11.1v lipo battery or i have to collect the gearbox parts from the floor if i use it?
-Where did you get your SHS gears set? i found one set on airsoftshopnl but crazy expansive which is about € 55,-
-How did you disable the full auto on your gearbox? i did ask TG to do that before they shipped but surprisingly i received email today it says your order has been shipped! since it Sunday who did that already..!
-Does the stock piston came with 19 metal teeth?
Thank you for good response!

- Almost no replica is 11.1 V ready, you at the least need a mosfet, correct AOE and shim, any other stuff might need upgrading to be able to stand the punishment of the 11.1V
- Samriey they are cheap skirmshop has them for 30 but if you order them at airsoftpeak they are cheaper, like 30 dollars with free shipping but they take a while to get here.
- Either disable full auto with a mosfet or modify the selector plate, the second one is more preferred as a mosfet can be reprogrammed which people don't always like.

BTW if you watch the video at the end it says what parts are used for 60 meters, but just getting the gun to shoot 60 meters is not something special, it is to get it to shoot 60 to 70 maybe 80 meters consistently in a small grouping. I can also shoot probably 70 meters by angling it upwards but it will have a shit grouping and probably not take their hit.

Which one on skirmshop is SHS SR25 gears? do you mean this one SHS 13:1 Reinforced Gearset , combatshop.nl also have SHS SR25 Gearset about €31,95 but i had bad experience with them so i'm afraid to place my order and then it will take the age of Dinosaur to receive it :/

Yes they did upgrade the replica in this parts to me after i emailed them (except the barrel) but let's be honest all these things are pretty crap..
However i aspire to make it reach at least 100 meter no less than that otherwise why i should call it sniper or even buy it..
I've met people at RSL they have good gas sniper can reach 110 ~120 meter for AEG I've seen also some people can reach 100 meter which i was their sitting duck for several time.

I forgot you need special gears due to the 19 teeth of the piston, those are 27 euro's on gunfire, or you switch to a 15 teeth piston and put in a stronger spring, but that also means you need to correct AOE way stronger. So the easy option is getting a SHS SR25 gear set of gunfire, but @Ties is a better help then me as he has a SR25 replica.

BTW 110-120 meters for a good gas sniper is utter BS, show me actual facts or proof otherwise i don't believe it, same for getting an AEG that shoots 100 meters with a nice grouping. That is nearly impossible.

I just got my laptop back this weekend so i was not able to be on the forum for a while.
Got my gears from an asian web store $17-$20 free shipping but took 3-4 weeks to arrive. You can buy an M4 selector switch or fill in the gap on the stock one with epoxy to make it semi only, it's what i did.
And yea you "can" lob bbs out to a 100m with a heavy modified hopup but even then only 2-3 out of 10 will hit, 75m is about max effective with 400-450fps

@Ties thank you for help once again much appreciated.
@Rebelattack i got hit by snipers at RSL from 100 meter, yesterday i spoke with my friend Cleanshot he is one of the best sniper here in north Holland airsoft fields he said that can be possible when the snipers standing from 3-4 meter higher in the tower so they will be in better range than on the ground shooting in horizon.
At this video 3:20 till the end you can see him he got a wonderful head shot from 80+ meter (but yet he didn't achieved 100 meter hit).

I don't know cleanshot personally but spoke with him on another forum and I enjoy his content and even he says as a sniper player that with a HPA sniper from an elevated position he can possibly get a 100 meter shot, so only in favorable conditions. Also there is still no actual proof except that you think you got hit from 100 meter away. Also now you talk about something else then AEG's and gas snipers, HPA is different even with the mancraft engine. Anyway yes you can probably make 100 meter shots when in favorable condition but it isn't just something you do that easily and 100 meters is not a normal standard within airsoft. The video already shows how hard it is to hit someone even at 80 meters, so if you can get your DMR to shoot 80 meters consistently you should be very happy.

EDIT: Btw cleanshot even says on other forums that he is happy when his sniper shoots 80 meter consistently.

Yes you're alright i just measured the field it was 62 meter to that sniper who got me. And 68 meter to my fired Cleanshot.
This mean my guess was wrong to the range of my KWA M4, because when i checked my longest accurate hit it was 40 meter and further than that i'm shooting randomly.

At 9:58 form my video you can see that guy running to the left (all my thought was about 60~70 meter) but became clear it was 40 meter away when i got him.
