Hello to all members of ACN.
First, I want to introduce myself. My name is Rafal, im currently living in Schiedam. I'm 28 years old and I'm living in Netherlands few years. I hope the Lingua Franca is accepted on this forum, I've learned already a little bit of Dutch but I'm afraid it is not enough to make communication comfortable.
After few weeks of waiting I got my NABV membership.
So hello to all of You and have a nice Sunday!

Welcome on the forum. Conversating in english is no problem on this forum, although most topics will probably still be written in Dutch, but hey that can help with learning some extra :).

Welcome man. Not being a dutch national myself, does one need an NABV pass to play on dutch fields?

Welcome! Congrats on your license!

@LowProfile Initially, no you are able to attend at fields 6 (correct me if i'm wrong) times a year without any license, and use their field rental kits ( You are not allowed to own any replica's yourself if you do not have a pass) If you want to be able to store, buy, and own airsoft replica's yourself and play more than 6 times a year you DO need a NABV license as you are then fully licensed to do the above. Everyone who wants to own replica's and play on the fields often has an NABV licenseeship. The NABV only operates in the Netherlands, other EU countries have different rules.

To shorten it up, if you want to try airsoft in the Netherlands before going full in, you can go to most local fields and pay to use their rental kits and see if you like it up to 6 times a year.
If you want to do all of the above, you'll need to get a NABV license. ( Which is absolutely worth it ;) )

Getting a nabv license is worth it just to be able to own your own replica's. Its going to be cheaper in the long run: Getting a 150 euro replica saves you easily 20 to 25 euro's a skirm by not having to rent. Welcome to the forum!
