Hello

I bought an m1a1 thompson from snowwolf 3 years ago with a battery. After 2 years it kept jamming up. I went to an airsoft store to fix it. They said they changed the motor. I tested it and it didn't work. When I pull the trigger it clicks and doesn't shoot. My battery is an NiMH 8,4V 1100mah battery. I think it's because the battery isn't strong enough but I'm not sure. Can someone help me fix this problem please?

With kind regards

Ruben

did you try and take the motor out and see if it spins when you pull the trigger if it work when you have done that then your gears are prob. stuck

Yes I did it. The motor works fine. I also dissasembled the gearbox, added some grease and assembled it and tried it again and it worked in full auto but not in single fire.
If my battery is fully charged the gun works on full auto and not in single but when it's not fully charged but not completely empty it doesn't shoot in full auto and in single.

sounds like the motor is over-spinning. im gonna go on a guess that the replica don't have a ETU. So there is nothing controlling the flow of power try and use a 7.4 lipo i think it will fix the problem

Yeah I don't have an ETU. I'm goung to the store today so I will ask and try the lipo battery. Thanks!
