Hello everyone,

My name is Nader Al-Khatib (that's my linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/in/nader-alkhatib/ ) .

I have been involved in airsoft in Italy for many years, both as a player and on the organizational side. For 17 years I managed Silent Threats ASD, (
) one of the long-standing airsoft associations in the Frosinone area near Rome, originally founded on 6 October 2000 and active ever since.

My background in the hobby is very practical, I’ve dealt with the real work behind activities, organization, safety, field management, and coordination between people and groups with more than 10 tournaments and events.

Professionally, I work in engineering and electronics, and over time I also designed and built several scenographic and interactive elements used in game environments to increase immersion. I’m sharing examples only to show the type of technical contribution I bring, not for commercial reasons. I am not here to sell products or services as I do not sell them anyway :D!

Outside airsoft, I am also Vice President of FabLab Frosinone, a digital fabrication laboratory and educational association. Last year we successfully obtained and used European project https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/projects/search/details/2024-1-IT02-KA122-ADU-000237731

and this year we have been accredited for next 2 years for the same projects.

Through that experience I learned that similar European opportunities also exist in the field of sport, including support for non-profit sports events and international cooperation.

This is why I am now working on the idea of building a European partnership around airsoft as a structured team sport, with the goal of developing an international event in Italy and applying for a European call also in the sports field. The vision is to create a well-organized, rule-based event where groups from different countries can meet, play, and exchange experience within a formal cooperation framework, not just a casual game.

I am specifically looking for associations and organized groups of players, not shops and not commercial fields. I am interested in teams that are part of associations, unions, or federative structures that bring players together under an organization. The idea is that these groups could come to Italy as partner organizations and participate with us in a FULLY FUNDED dedicated airsoft sports days as part of a broader European collaboration project. When I say fully funded, means travel + accomodation + lunch + dinner etc.

If your group fits this profile and you are open to international cooperation, feel free to get in touch. I’m looking to build real partnerships between associations.

Looking forward to connecting with you all.
