Well i still receive email notification from some threads in somehow, and each time i want to come back and reply i find myself busy and just forgot to do so, however i hope all of you doing well guys..
So how is the KWA after all?
Honestly there is no brand i had/ have so far beat the KWA in any way.
The VFC is the worst thing i have and seen in airsoft, i faced many troubles ( the fire selector plate broken after a few weeks, the tappet plate broken after shooting one mag, the motor very weak and consumes the battery very quickly, self shimming very bad thing, the cylinder is chrome coating not even chrome and got damage by PX-02 madbull piston, the wire system so bad and get overheat fast, the hopup chamber is so bad..etc) and just too many things.
Back to the KWA, till this moment i have no problem to mention with it, (Yes) i did some stupid stuff before like (I've been try to modify the upper piece of the hopup unit "because the KWA two piece hopup chamber" then i crack it so i bought a new one) the other thing i did, in one day i made maintenance to the gearbox (cleaning, lubrication) and i was rush so i forgot to install the piston head o-ring later i found myself on zero fps after that i found the o-ring laying down on the ground somewhere lol, so i re-install it.
Also i had an issue with the dust cover before (later i discovered that some tree buds entered inside and it was the hindrance) and nothing more than that all the past time, but on the contrary i did upgraded it with
Systema AREA1000 Aluminium Piston Head with
Modify cylinder head to make Ballistic Ordnance Sound and make the shooting sound on my M4 more realistic.
So you can imagine how this tuning very powerful and risky (on anther gearbox definitely will shrouded pieces due to the hard impact between heavier aluminum piston head and solid cylinder head).
The stock KWA barrel no need to upgrade it at all, as i said that before it's Japanese barrel (but i did with Poseidon air cushion barrel).
The stock KWA motor is good but i replace it with the shs, because i found the GJ blue motor work better on my SR25 so where i have to go with shs? let me install it in my KWA.
For very long time I've been using my KWA with Lipo batteries without fuse, but recently i did install a fuse in the stock, that's because i upgraded the VFC wires and then i surplus fuse holder so i said let me put it on my KWA.
The other thing i did is, upgrade the cylinder with
Ultimate serie ASG edge ported cylinder to increase the air volume and maintain the ROF.
