Airsoft Apperaten of toch replica of wapen, welke is het nou?

Ach en weet je om maar gewoon even in het Nederlands door te gaan , airsoft is zo lang niet mogelijk geweest en nu pas een paar jaar geregeld , dus ik ben het wel eens met veel mensen hier dat je jezelf niet in de picture moet spelen , we leven in een rare tijd dus heb ik er verder ook geen moeite mee met de huidige benaming , van replica /apparaat of inderdaad gewoon het beesje bij de naam noemen , Tippmann m4 , sig sauer , vfc mp7 enz enz

Ben al lang blij dat we niet meer helemaal naar Belgie moeten al was ik daar te lui voor denk ik hahaha te veel gedoe zeg maar .

Ik zit dit topic een beetje te volgen en er is veel discussie over het "wapen" en "gun". En vooral met de vertaling. In het Nederlands klinkt "wapen" veel serieuzer dan als je het Engelse woord "gun" gebruikt. Mogelijk is het voor iemand wat lastiger te begrijpen als Nederlands niet je moedertaal is.

Als je in een Nederlandse zin "gun" gebruikt kom je over als een of andere trigger happy COD speler.
Bijvoorbeeld :
Wat voor "gun" moet ik kopen?
Wat is de beste "gun"?

Spreek je daarentegen geheel engels dan heeft "airsoft-gun" een compleet andere lading. En past ook in die taal.

Maar om 1 lijn te houden willen we het gewoon niet (meer) zien op het forum.

Zoals @Sander eerder al heeft gezegd; heel leuk om te zien dat deze discussie gevoerd werd op deze manier. Top! Leuke meningen langs zien komen.

Een regelset zou een idee kunnen zijn. En dan niet helemaal regel voor regel, maar dat er wat guidelines staan zodat nieuwe bezoekers dit weten. We moeten idd voorkomen dat we als politie gaan opletten en corrigeren.

Ik gebruik zelf replica (vanuit de Belgische tijd idd) en apparaat. Meestal zit ik op replica of het model type; De M4, de m9, etc.). Woapen gebruik ik niet omdat omstanders dan geen verkeerde ideeën krijgen. Als de lieve buurvrouw je over de schutting hoort praten over wapen dit en wapen dat, kan dat een verkeerd signaal geven met politie aan de deur, etc..

Je ziet soms in mijn video's dat het tijdens een skirm alsnog door mij gebruikt wordt omdat ik me op dat moment inleef in de situatie.

Airsoft Gun is voor mij ook wel "op de rand". Omdat de cultuur in NL al zo anti wapen is, wil ik die woorden zo min mogelijk in verband brengen met de sport. Het is heel krampachtig, maar naar mijn idee wel het veiligst.

@Jan: Misschien kunnen jullie er een soort gedragscode van maken? Ik snap heel goed dat jullie geen 'politieagentje' willen gaan spelen - men is hier op het forum naar mijn idee volwassen en verstandig genoeg dat dat ook niet nodig is. Een aantal richtlijnen kunnen echter wel handig zijn en het 'verbod' op het woord 'wapen' lijkt me hier een onderdeel van. Nieuwe bezoekers (en dan met name nieuwe of aankomende airsofters) zijn niet op de hoogte van dergelijke ongeschreven regels en we kunnen het ze ook niet kwalijk nemen dat het dan mis gaat.

Nog even een slightly off-topic toevoeging (maar wel horende bij het onderwerp richtlijnen en regels):
Ik vind dat de marktplaats op dit forum redelijk 'rommelig' is. Er zijn wel regels over hoe omgegaan wordt met topics maar ik mis structuur in het aanmaken van topics. Veel topics missen een [TKA] of [TKG] tag. Dit is de manier zoals het ook op het 'andere forum' doen, hoeft niet op dezelfde manier hier maar er moet wel een onderscheid te maken zijn tussen verkoop- en gezocht topics. Daarnaast mis ik een vaste structuur voor de verkooptopics, c.q. welke informatie in de topic moet staan (een kopiëerbare layout uit het sticky topic zou ideaal zijn). Ook zou ik afbeeldingen bij verkooptopics verplicht stellen (in ieder geval één zelfgemaakte foto, niet van internet geplukt). Niet alleen bevordert dit de kans op verkoop maar voorkomt ook teleurstelling bij eventuele kopers, indien de informatie niet volledig was of geen eigen afbeeldingen.

I shouldn't come back here and write another comment but for two reasons (once i still receive alert email which lead me to read more reply update on this topic) and the second thing is (i found myself like: I've been placed in the corner such out-law guy)..
Well,
If we assume the Dutch culture very sensitive form "gun" term then is there are any chance some one can explain to me (how and why) the intertoys.nl and action.nl and many other stores called the water gun as a water gun?
Isn't these stores opened and sale these products at the same culture where this word undesirable?
What is the difference between the water gun and airsoft gun term since both of them (entertainment objectives and not lethal)?
Alright, perhaps the regular people (none airsofter) come across to this forum and may read this word (airsoft gun) or even the neighbor heard that and it may be shocking to them?
So how about video games forum or even (phone calls between the friends) on how to blow up the police care and make it fly! where most common question on Battlefield Hardline or GTA5..
Now should the neighbor take everything seriously and consider this words as real attack?
I'm not freedom fighter here or try to insisted my opinion and prove it on, but many time as i named the airsoft gun as (airsoft gun) i also name it (airsoft replica) and my last thread prove that (how to store your replica), so between unwritten rules and someone spend more than 9 moth on this forum speak English translate most comment via google i received red card (as Sander indicated. Whether the law prohibits it or not, doesn't matter. The forum doesn't allow it and that's that. People that do not like this rule, can go find another forum,) where Foodie88 translated (because google showed another translation).
So at the end perhaps many people wondering what's happened here and what I've been try to prove?
Well honestly I've never ever heard about the unwritten rules before and all my goal was trying to inform the new user of this topic (Maple) and some other that's the (airsoft gun term) also used by officially sources and some of Dutch airsoft website as well, so at the end no violation to the Netherlands law in this matter (why are you afraid from use it - in good faith..) since i have no clue or any idea about the unwritten rules of this forum..
So if i could know the unwritten rules from the beginning i haven't inter this discussion already and save myself away from being offensive to some people round-here.
Call it airsoft gun or replica make no different to me, so i wasn't fighting to achieve something.
However everything is alright and wish good to all of you.
Don't bother yourself to reply on this comment i just want to clarify what happened and what should be known to all of you guys.

I just want to make clear @b.samriey ; I, nor any other forum-member has put you on the stand as an outlaw. We've only had a normal (and useful) discussion about this topic, right? I'm not mad at you, and I hope you're not mad at any of us. It's been a useful discussion and I'm glad that Sander and Jan have given us their opinion so we can use it as a guideline while visiting "their" ( / "our" ) forum.

But like you've stated; I would love to see some form of "guideline" or "Tips while on this forum" for new users so they don't have to be told how/what to use things here.

I can imagine the unwritten rule is lost in translation for you. @Foodie88 's suggestion of making a conde of conduct instead of a forum rules is a good one!

I just mentioned that sooner or later people that do not follow the rules (whatever those rules might be) should go find another forum, that doesn't have the rules they are disobeying. I am ok here and happy nothing personal at all.
Sander mean to much to me and he is my dear friend, never forgot his favour and help to me all the past time I'm not upset of him nor anyone else.
